Mekhi Phifer, the Poker Star!

If Mekhi Phifer wasn't doing so well as a movie star and TV star, he'd definitely have a chance at being a professional poker player. Mekhi Phifer is a VERY good poker player! Not only did he dominate the first round he played at Celebrity Poker Showdown, but during the Championship game he PERSONALLY took out Matthew Perry, Dennis Rodman, Kevin Nealon and Neil Patrick Harris - every player at the table! He won the $100,000 prize for his charity The Vine Group, making him the second "E.R." cast member to win the final showdown! (Maura Tierney is the other "E.R." cast member.)

Mekhi Phifer first got his career started in Spike Lee's film "Clockers." Since then he has been doing very well, appearing in huge movies like "8 Mile" with Eminem, "Honey" with Jessica Alba and Missy Elliott and "Dawn of the Dead" with Sarah Polley and Ving Rhames... as the father of a zombie baby!
