Maura Tierney, the Poker Star!

Maura Tierney is another terrific poker player: apparently they churn out a lot of great poker players on the "E.R." set! Her co-star Mekhi Phifer absolutely dominated at the Celebrity Poker Showdown, much like Maura did before him!

These days Maura Tierney is probably best known for her role on "E.R" as nurse Abby Lockhart. Before that, though, she was in a number a films before she joined the cast of "NewsRadio" with Dave Foley, the co-host of Celebrity Poker Showdown. She has continued making movies too, appearing with Ray Romano and Gene Hackman in "Welcome to Mooseport," "Liar Liar" Jim Carrey, and "Insomnia" with Al Pacino and Hillary Swank.
