James Woods, the Poker Star!

James Woods is one of those people who are good at ANYTHING once they set their mind to it and lately James has set his mind to poker. He hasn't even been playing for that long but he's addicted now and has become a very good player. I guess having a 180 IQ helps with things like that! He has been going at the game in a big way, too, playing at World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker events pretty frequently, and though he hasn't won one of them yet he's been making his way up the ranks very well!

His poker playing may not be able to outshine his skill as an actor, though - that would be REALLY hard to do! So far his acting roles have earned him three Emmys, a Golden Globe, an Obie Award, a Clarence Derwent Award, a Theatre World award, American Critics Award and two Golden Satellite awards, and he's been nominated for two Oscars, 10 Golden Globes, and a CableAce award. Phew! This shouldn't come as much of a surprise to anyone who has seen in him movies like "Once Upon A Time In America" and "The Onion Field," to mention only a very few of the more than 100 movies he's been in!
