David Cross, the Poker Star!

David Cross is kind of a sketchy character - he's really funny, but he just gives me the creeps with some of his jokes! But after I got to watch him playing against the cast of "Arrested Development" on the Celebrity Poker Showdown I became a bigger fan. He played really well, and even beat out Mimi Rogers in their tournament to move on to the Championship. He didn't do as well in that, but he still showed himself as a very talented Texas Holdem player.

David Cross has been in show business for a while now. He started as a writer for Ben Stiller on "The Ben Stiller Show" which was nominated for an Emmy, and then he moved on to co-write and co-star in "Mr. Show with Bob and David," another show that was nominated for an Emmy. After that he joined the cast of Fox's "Arrested Development" and finally won his Emmy as part of the ensemble cast.
