James Bond Has a Bad Poker Face

The producers of the new James Bond flick Casino Royale are probably not too happy with their new 007, Daniel Craig after a recent interview where he admitted that he can’t play poker. Normally it is not an issue when the star of a film can’t play poker, but not when you’re playing James Bond it's a different story.

One of Casino Royale’s more important scenes involves a poker a game with James Bonds. It is rumored that Daniel Craig was so bad at poker they could not film the mock poker game properly. The film’s producers flew in a poker expert to give Daniel Craig a crash course on poker. Many of Daniel Craig’s fellow guests at his hotel were openly mocking the new James Bond at his bad poker face.

"Daniel could not play cards - it was so funny. It is a critical part of the film, where Bond shows how cool a customer he is,” explained an insider close to the Casino Royale filming. “But it was frustratingly ridiculous how long it took to teach the cast how to play or behave at a poker table."

The lack of poker skills is just one of the many things about Daniel Craig that have given Casino Royale a headache. During the films filming Daniel Craig has said that he hates guns, can’t drive a stick and believe or not Daniel Craig does not like Bond’s trademark drink of a Martini shaken not stirred.

Casino Royale will wrap shooting soon and will be released at the end of this year. The film also stars French actress Eva Green.
