Play Poker Against Mike Tyson
What happens when you combine a rich British business man and Mike Tyson’s old house? You get a poker tournament that could turn into a reality television show.
Self-made business man Dominic Marrocco purchased the boxer’s old mansion in Las Vegas for roughly four million dollars and now will offer it as a prize in a poker tournament, a tournament that Mike Tyson has been thinking about joining to win house back.
Marrocco wants the event to be broadcasted to the world in the form of a reality show that would feature Tyson, Marrocco and any other players that want to pay the buy in for the event.
Marrocco is not sure whether or not he will go to an outside production company to finance the television show, or he may just foot the bill himself.
"Poker is really popular in both the US and UK and reality TV is massive too," said Marrocco. "We have the chance to combine the two and, in a great twist, give Mike Tyson the chance to win back his home."
The reality show would follow all the people in the tournament trying to make in to the final poker table facing Marrocco and Tyson.
After leaving school Marrocco opened his own computer store and then started an internet service provider called Firstnet, which he sold for £10 million.
